Abstract: |
Heat absorbing agents will be installed on the roads connected to thermoelectric generators where the heat will be converted into electrical power and transmitted to power stations. |
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? |
Deficiency of electricity due to heavy reliance on imported fuels has become a significant impediment to socio-economic development in Pakistan. People living in remote areas of the country are poor. Thermal appliances can prove to be beneficial to these group of people. |
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
Although solar technology has been introduced in Pakistan this technology is not yet broadly introduced in the automobile industry. But now some local manufacturers are intending to launch this technology in their cars. Thus this will be beneficial for the country and the local manufacturers. |
How will the solution works |
1) When the car will pass over heat absorbing agents, heat will be produced due to friction between tires and these agents.
2) In the absence of vehicle traffic, solar energy will play the role to heat these agents.
3) Conductors will transmit this heat energy to thermoelectric generators.
4) These generators will be installed at road sideways.
5) These generators will convert heat energy into electrical energy.
6) Electrical energy will be transmitted to power stations (charging ports) |
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different |
All the oil companies will be our competitors. Our idea will also stable our countries economy, as we import oil from other countries which costs alot. This technology is also environmental friendly as there will be no refining or burning of fuel will be involved which is a major cause of pollution |
