Abstract:
    This project is based on mm-wave Radar connected with Raspberry which detects the human posture and create the alert notification in mobile app. The detection is based on Machine Learning model CNN.
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    The posture and fall detection device had already developed using cameras. But people usually do not prefer cameras in their private spaces and in washrooms.
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
   It will be beneficial for hospitals and elder home where nurses are required to take care of patients. Sometimes they slip in washrooms and they didn't get the emergency treatment because no one knows about their fall and this device will help to create the emergency fall alert to their care taker.
How will the solution works
    This project is based on mm-wave radar. The three radars Acconeer XM112, XM122 and XC112 are used in this project to try different ranges and to get results from different radars. XM112 is board of single radar and XC112 consists of four radars which provides better resolution. The Radars will get the data and then the data will be passed through CNN machine learning model in raspberry pi using standalone.py. The real time detection is ntegrated with app which create the fall alert notification.
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    This project is already done on Texas Instruments Radar but their radars are costly as compared to Acconeer. The cost of their radars os approximately two times of Acconeer. This project will make the device which is economically good and affordable.
