In the area of e-commerce and ware house logistics there is inefficiency in picking and leading to packing mistakes, which badly effects customer experience. Labour cost can be decreased with the most effecient usage of RFID tagged items. | |

In homes and industries RFusion has many applications. In manufacturing, RFID tagged items can enhance coordination between many robots. Additionally, for warehouse logistics, system enables robot manipulation when items are hidden. These are just some of many areas RFusion can make an impact. | |
How will the solution works | |
RFusion begins searching for an object using its antenna, which bounces signals off the RFID tag (like sunlight being reflected off a mirror) to identify a spherical area in which the tag is located. It combines that sphere with the camera input, which narrows down the object’s location. Reinforcement learning was used to train a neural network that can optimize the robot’s trajectory to the object. In reinforcement learning, the algorithm is trained through trial and error with a reward system. | |
