| For this project, commercially available quadcopters may be utilized to realize a swarm of multiple units. Payloads of surveillance systems will be
installed on quad-copters

| What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? |
| Existing surveillance systems using autonomous
drones may result in failed transmissions as there is only one drone carrying the information. A singular compromised unit would result in the end of a mission, and reconnaissance is usually dangerous. Use of swarming
techniques will be utilized. |
| Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
| Drones can coordinate their target selection and modify approach. For
example, in an ’omnidirectional attack’, swarms of drones strike a target
from many angles. The millitary and the whole nation on security has a benefit. |
| How will the solution works |
| Swarm intelligence would be applied with the help of the controllers that we
will be using(PID). A key element is communication between group members who build a constant feedback system. The behavior of the swarm involves a constant change of individuals in cooperation
with others, as well as the behavior of the whole group.
