| Virtual Mirror would change the way you buy clothes. A smart way that would minimize the hassle the customers experience while buying clothes by removing the primitive methods of trying outfits. |
| What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? |
| Online shopping has become a trend in Pakistan and has quite gotten a boost ever since the world got hit by this corona pandemic and so it has become a challenge for them to keep up with the public demands, for e.g. quality standards are not up to the mark. |
| Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
| Staying at home was never a solution, as for now covid SOP's are being implemented at every level. Our idea provides benefit to both, providing brands the ease of dealing with customers and the latter being able to choose clothes more efficiently. |
| How will the solution works |
| A filter room would be introduced which would include a camera and an LCD screen. Camera as the word suggests would take the picture of the person inside and it would be displayed on the screen as a 3D model, and with the help of a remote that person would apply filters(designed through image processing) of different outfits on that model, and the one he likes would be considered for buying thus reducing all the hassle of changing outfits manually everytime. |
| Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different |
| quantum fits has done a similar work where they have used huge scanners to create 3D models whereas we are using a single camera for the same purpose and furthermore we are planning to commercialize it, so to be exact they are not our direct competitors |
