| Utilizing the waste heat of the Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) for the preheating of the metal. Secondly, to automate the feeding mechanism of metal scrap into the Electric Arc Furnace. |

| Most of the foundries in Pakistan e.g. Chenab engineering works and foundries, friends foundry, etc. producing metals such as cast iron and steel. Any industry using furnaces of any type. Currently working with Chenab engineering works and foundries. |
| How will the solution works |
| About 75 % of heat transfer occurs in the form of radiation and 20 % of this heat is wasted through the openings of the EAF, which accumulates to form a big value throughout the continuous operation. We will utilize this radiation for preheating. In addition, we will automate the feeding mechanism by introducing the conveyor and hopper system. |

| Our project consists of mechanical design-based R&D. As well, this project was proposed by the industry itself, which shows that it is difficult to find competitors. |
