Abstract: |
A multi-purpose project that incorporates totally autonomous delivery system. And inflight charging systems for drones with cost-effectiveness. It will attract drone technology consumers of all sorts. |
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? |
Our project will meet two shortcomings in drone technology. First, we will design a totally autonomous pick and drop system to reduce human labor. And secondly the development of cordless charging posts for minimizing charging time and inflight charging for maximum efficiency. |
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
It can be used for delivery by hundreds of organizations. Army can use it for arms delivery, food chains for food delivery, markets for groceries delivery, offices and universities can use them for documents and cafe food delivery within their campuses. |
How will the solution works |
Our solution focuses on making drones autonomous. It includes drone charging posts, through artificial intelligence and sensors Drone would be made capable of take-off and landing autonomously. They would be controlled by an app where you just need to mark the pickup and dropoff location the drone would use Google GPS and would follow the lead and whenever it is not assigned any task it would find itself the closest charging post and charging starts without manual assistance. |
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different |
All current delivery systems would be our competitors. Limited drone flight time is the issue but with our charging posts, drones would charge at the closest charging station autonomously thus reducing time losses for manual charging moreover autonomous drones are not readily market available. |
