| A remote and sustainable solution for De-silting of DAMs, canals, harbors and Lagoons. |
| What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? |
| The current solutions available are so expensive and technically and economically non viable that the authorities decide again de-sedimentation and invest on further building up on the dams. My solution will be sustainable and economical viable that will be beneficial for the country’s economy. |
| Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
| The country needs it. The operators who work on de-silting and lose their lives due to non-ideal design solutions need it. |
| How will the solution works |
| My solution will be an automated product that will function underwater. It will be solar powered and will provide an efficient method to dig out the silt with the use of specifically designed rotating blades. It will be re chargeable and will have a chamber that stored the material which can later be dumped at the dumping site. |
| Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different |
| Their aren’t many local competitors because de-silting is not being done anywhere in Pakistan other than for very specific technical purposes. |
