| Vacuum Forming involves heating a plastic sheet until soft and then draping it over a mold. A vacuum is applied sucking the sheet into the mold. The sheet is then ejected from the mold. | |

| Such a portable machine is not available in our country and the imported ones are quite expensive. We are hoping to manufacture first such machine in Pakistan and help our local manufacturers. | |

| Such a machine can be used by local manufacturers, industries, in product development etc. for making all kinds of products. It can be used to make logos and advertisement boards as well | |
| How will the solution works | |
| Every vacuum forming machine has 3 basic parts: the heater, the vacuum source and the structure of the machine. We want to reduce the size of our machine to make it portable. The manufactured machine will be used to manufacture open-sided plastic products. Molds for this process can be easily manufactured through 3D printing or CNC machines. The basic thermoforming process is the same: heating the sheet, placing it in the mold and then creating a vacuum to form the sheet to the shape of the mold | |
