| An SOS app that triggers on a keyword and generates an alert that sends your location to your closed contacts, nearby users and law enforcements so someone can reach out and help. |
| What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? |
| Women in our society do not feel safe when they are alone. Recently we have been getting a lot of rape cases. Women and children are exploited when they are alone. So, our app will provide a platform where nobody is ever alone, and we are all just a keyword away from someone to come and help us. |
| Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
| Women and children would need it the most. Men would also register to help their closed contacts and nearby victims in case of an emergency. Apart from that, it can also be used to generate alerts in cases of robbery etc. So almost everyone in our country could benefit. |
| How will the solution works |
| There will be an NLP trigger word detection process running in the background and it will send the location information to our server whenever a user says our keyword to ask for help. Then based on that location our server will send alerts to nearby users, closed contacts and law enforcements, and give them the location details of the user who needs help so someone can reach there to help them. |
| Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different |
| There are few local apps like Zainab alert but those are for reporting incidents after they happen. There are non local apps like bSafe but they only generate alerts to closed contacts and they also charge the users to generate alerts. Our app would also provide unique feature of proximity alerts. |
