Abstract: |
Tooth decay and cavities have remained a persistent issue, compelling people to resort to the conventional method of dental fillings. However, the discomfort, allergic reactions, and high costs make it inconvenient. To cope with these issues, stem cell dental therapy can be employed to help fully regenerate the teeth, thereby not compromising oral health, while providing a safe natural alternative |
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? |
The prevalent method of tooth fillings in Pakistan is often unreliable and damaging to the affected individuals. People with composite or amalgam fillings become prone to bacterial infections, prohibiting the restoration of damaged tooth tissue. Our idea provides a natural alternative to fillings. |
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
Nearly 60% of Pakistan |
How will the solution works |
Dental stem cells are obtained from teeth. These tissues can be isolated from the pulp of both exfoliated and adult teeth, the periodontal ligament, the tips of developing roots, or the tissue that adjoins the unerupted tooth. Stem cells are then isolated by digesting the tissue. The isolated stem cells are optimized in cell culture in vitro and induced to differentiate into osteoblasts. These differentiated cells are then reintroduced into the tooth cavity to stimulate the growth of dentin. |
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different |
Our solution is different as it emphasizes the use of regeneration, leading to the developing of a new tooth within nine weeks. There are no detrimental impacts on the targeted person, unlike the usual dental implant with risk factors associated due to foreign material being injected. slot deposit 5000 |
