Abstract:
    Cereals are major ingredient for bakery. Oats having high fiber, vitamin and bioactive content, serve as a nutritious substitute for starch portion in conventional and gluten-free diets. Oatmeal cookies are a healthy and Gluten-free alternative to various choices available in market. Objective behind birth of this idea is to create a choice for gluten-intolerant and health-conscious individuals.
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    Market is saturated with wheat-based cookies and oats are healthier substitute. Oats are barely included in individuals' dietary habits (Estimated from Survey conducted within University), so it can be a mean of introducing oats in individuals' diets focusing second SDG, Good health and Well being.
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
   Not merely gluten-intolerant individuals but also healthy individuals can consume this product. The idea is generated by focusing the gluten-intolerant individuals but considering the immensely nutritious profile of oats, all consumers (Including those having heart problems) can consume it.
How will the solution works
    Oats are one of the immensely nutritious and healthy cereals, on which, numerous studies have been conducted regarding their usage in bakery products along with effects of minor ingredients on their physiochemical, sensory and rheological properties. Keeping that in mind, the technical working including the proportions of raw materials, mixing, kneading and baking operations are designed which will be feasible to conduct.
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    McOaty, Nutri Gluten, Tiffany and many other competitors are there in market. Various types of oat cookies and Gluten-free cookies are available in market but the idea is different from the competitors in this way that we will be bringing together oats and the gluten-free factor.
