| Evolution in construction encounters many challenges and risks including monitoring large-scale Projects. On-site monitoring is hectic and time-consuming. This research will give a proficient solution to monitor projects using Building Information Modelling(BIM) and Artificial Intelligence. |
| What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? |
| Pakistan is a developing country and monitoring and control of large-scale construction projects is very challenging to do manually. Progress tracking of construction projects will be done using Lidar scanners and drones to give accurate and precise analytics of projects' progress. |
| Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
| The construction Industry is the beneficiary of this research project. This will bridge the gap between clients, contractors, and consultants by providing a visualization of data of any construction project. This will benefit the construction industry to complete projects on time avoiding rework. |
| How will the solution works |
| The solution will work by employing Lidar and photogrammetric technology to Scan the project on-site. The scanned data will be processed to make an as-built 3D model of the project. The model will be then compared with the designed model to track the progress of work. The amount of work done is then evaluated using Earned VALUE Management to see if we our project is following the planned Schedule and is under the planned budget. The 3D model will be visualized on mobile devices as well. |

| The typical construction Industry of Pakistan including Contractors and consultants is the competitor. Project monitoring is done manually in Pakistan. This solution will challenge construction technology. The solution is different as it includes less workforce and time to provide accurate data. |
