Abstract:
    This project's scope is the development of an unmanned aerial manipulator (UAM), a hybrid aerial-ground robot capable of both aerial flight and manipulation tasks. The UAM will consist of a UAV with a robotic arm attached to its base. The UAM is capable of manipulation in its workspace. The UAM will be used in situations where human access is limited such as disaster response.
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    UAM is a versatile robot that combines the ability to fly with manipulation ability, enabling it to and operate in areas that are difficult for humans to reach. In this way, the UAM is able to perform tasks that require both aerial mobility and manipulation capability in challenging environments.
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
   The use of UAM in scenarios such as disaster response, hazardous environment exploration, inspection and maintenance of infrastructure, and search and rescue operations prove it a unique solution for wide range of individuals and organizations, including first responders, engineers etc.
How will the solution works
    The unmanned aerial manipulator is an integration of two systems, an aerial vehicle and a robotic arm .Our objective for the problem solution is to make low inertia arm for its precise control. We will design mechanism in such a way that it can compensate for its center of gravity shift. We will also make our design as flexible as possible so that it can be integrated with UAV platform easily. We will also devise an effective control algorithm for precise movement and motion control of the arm.
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    Internationally huge research is going on UAM due to its large industrial applications. There is a huge potential market available for the product.In Pakistan currently no one is working on this. But there is a huge market gap available for UAM due to potential large number of applications.
