We aim to create an app which delivers 3D models of real-life objects from images taken on a phone. Our goal is to estimate the depth of features extracted from the images, and subsequently generate meshes through depth estimations and point clouds. |

Biomedical shape modelling and Mechanical part modelling are some of our target industries. We plan to deliver accurate 3D printable models, economizing crucial resources. This could potentially revolutionize industry specific product assembly. |
How will the solution works |
We start by capturing numerous pictures of the object from various perspectives, making sure to cater all angles and dimensions. Features would be taken from and compared across all of the photos as they are processed on a server. To extract the depths of those features, we will then use Structure from Motion. Finally, Mesh will be created using the depths and exported back to the user's smartphone. |

Our solution is convenient and platform independent. it doesn't require particular hardware for depth estimations.
