Abstract: |
Machinery maintenance CMS (Computerized Management System) has become a need of
time for the power sector. This study is about creating an application that can provide ease and give
advanced knowledge to young engineers about maintenance terminologies and procedures.
For this purpose, different OEM similar recommendations are analyzed for similar
equipment. |
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? |
Mismanagement in maintenance can cause great damage to the
power plant equipment. The main outcome of this research is to put all the data into the shape of an app that will be
accessible to everyone for free, so it will reduce the time of maintenance and increase the
productivity of the plant. |
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
Machinery maintenance CMS (Computerized Management System) has become a need of
time for the power sector and for young engineers. It will provide ease in maintenance for power plants and allows young engineers to learn from it. |
How will the solution works |
The application will contain different options to either select an equipment or go to add your own equipment. Now, let's say that the user selects Equipment such that Pump. It will then ask the user what he/she wants to do from the list including Preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance or troubleshooting. After selecting a certain option, it will pop up the problems or inspection sheet. Where the user can select a particular problem or inspection. |
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different |
This method of maintenance plan such that the use of application at this moment has no competitors and therefore it is a perfect method to make the work of Engineers easy. |
