Abstract:
    Drowsiness is a feeling of being sleepy and tired that is quite dangerous during driving. As the driver is tired and unable to drive properly, several accidents can occur throughout the world that can threaten the life of the driver and others. In order to solve this problem we are developing a device that can detect drowsiness of the driver in its early stages and can alert the driver.
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    As it has become very common for us to listen to the news of road accidents at night due to drowsy drivers. So in order to reduce those accidents our device can help to alert the driver to take some rest in case of drowsiness is detected. It also helps to locate your driver as well.
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
   On large scale, any person who drives his vehicle at night should have this device. But specifically, we think the transportation industry that is responsible for transporting and taking care of a lot of lives would be benefited greatly and will be appreciated by their travelers by using such device
How will the solution works
    For drowsiness detection, our device will be using a camera that will detect the face of the driver. We are going to develop this system by using deep learning. Internet of Things (IoT) based data transmission of the driver's lives location and position will be done. For this, we will be using GPS and IMU sensors along with our controller. In case of drowsiness detection alarm system will also be included in order to alert the driver.
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    Apparently, there is no big competitor right now in Pakistan. This device is being sold in the international market under the name Vezo 360. In Pakistan, there are devices like AirPods, which have motion sensors and it produces alarm on the motion of the head which is irritating and inaccurate.
