| Vehicle collisions with side rails result in large number of deaths every year. Our idea focuses on finding ways to avoid or minimize the road accidents due to side rail impact on vehicle during accident and therefore, reduce injury and fatality rate. |
| What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? |
| The steel side rails cause a large impact on the vehicle upon collision which results in significant damage to vehicle and passengers. Our idea offers a much safer replacement for the steel side rails. |
| Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
| The purpose of our idea is to make roads safe and ensure vehicle safety. Our product will be most needed by the construction contractors for the highways and motorways. They are tasked with the upkeeping and maintenance of the roads. These contractors will install the roller barriers on the location |
| How will the solution works |
| We plan to replace steel side rails with roller side rails that provide the cushioning effect which not only absorb the impact but also convert it into the rotational energy which prevents the vehicle and passengers from fatal accidents. It leads the vehicle back to the road and stop it by absorbing energy after collision. |

| Currently, there is no such product available in our country and we plan to launch our product as one of its kind which will ensure life as well as vehicle safety. |
