Your Annual Stage 2 FICSATION

FICS-Stage 2 is here!

During the ongoing journey of FICS’18, the energy, among many elements, has remained on a constant growth. For the talented participants and the hardworking organizing committee, the excitement for the subsequent stages is accelerating. This March will experience Stage-2 of the FICS voyage, which you may already know about, and we cannot wait for it. So let’s take a look at why you should be a part of this experience:

1- Industry & Academia at one big stage

The renowned industrial experts and intellectuals of the academic arena will meet at one platform. This shall mark the collision of the remarkable minds with one common goal of selecting the finest among the best. Clearly, it is the hardest job which we are more than confident that these minds will perform with diligence!

2- Mind-blowing ideas

158 ideas… Yes, you got that right! We advise you to take a deep breath and maintain composure, (which is going to be hard, but we will help you through it) because you will enter a universe of brilliance where you will be bombarded with extraordinarily impressive ideas. You will be astonished to see the creative-wonders that our dexterous young experts have produced in 13 different spheres including infrastructure, energy, education, sanitation and etcetera.

3- Networking

With enthusiastic participants from all of the NUST’s faculties and colleges, the industrial brainiacs and the academic prodigies, you will be left awed by the vastness of talent under one roof. This is an experience worth seeking where you will get a chance to meet and greet with these magnificent minds and strengthen your network.

4- Kickstarter

In the ambience where the imaginations are cultivated into actual prototypes, you will be stimulated to explore your mind. It will allow you to think and look at things in a perspective which might embark you on the journey of finding innovative and creative solutions to the problems of the society.

5- Pitches and Presentations

The most important part of the stage 2 involves pitches and presentations. The teams will be engaged in elevator-pitching through catchy presentations in front of the jury. Every team will be striving for marks in order to proceed to the next stage, which means that competition is going to be intense. So brace yourselves for some strong rivalry followed by the challenging questions & answers session with the jury!
