| Smart Kitchen aims to develop a fully autonomous Pasta cooking machine that can be controlled either via a touch monitor or through an IoT device. |
| What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? |
| Smart Kitchen aims to bring develop a machine that can cook food with the least human intervention and in the shortest amount of time. Thus bringing the concept of fast cooking and food vending machines instead of waiting in long lines. |
| Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
| Smart Kitchen's concept is for both industrial and commercial products. The industrial product shall work alongside the chef to reduce his workload and delivering fast & efficient results. While the commercial products aim is to cook food through touch or remotely and keep the food warm. |
| How will the solution works |
| The product is composed of three units. First, there is a storage unit. This unit contains boiled pasta and all the other ingredients needed for the dish in separate containers. Second, there is a heating and pot unit. The heating mechanism is through a controlled induction plate while the pot contains food from the storage unit. The pot shall be able to plate also. Third, there is the mixing and stirring component. While the food is in the pot, there will be an external mechanism that shall fry |
| Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different |
| In Pakistan, there is no competition for Smart Kitchens. While internationally, there are many products i.e Moley Robotic Kitchen, Sally Vending Machine, and Spyce Robotic Kitchen. However, all of them are expensive units spanning the whole kitchen while our product shall aim to be less expensive. |
