Abstract:
    "With rapid industrialization, population growth and water security issues, the increase in agricultural demands is also one of the major challenges to feed hunger world. In such regard, agricultural crops require essential micro- and macro-nutrients for their growth, however, some of these nutrients like phosphorus have limited reserves and they may deplete with time. Therefore, to ensure healthy crop production, the recovery of phosphate from alternative sources becomes essential. In accordance, current study will be mainly focused on how to exploit phosphate resources from phosphate rich reservoirs mainly eutrophic lakes? This will not only help environmental professionals to cope with eutrophication issues but also will alleviate the shortage of P resources for sustainable agricultural activities. In accordance, one of the promising solutions may be related to the recovery of phosphorous using carbonaceous material such as biochar. In general, the proposed study will present novel solution to waste management, agricultural and water sector of Pakistan for socioeconomic importance of country."
