| This project puts forward how to promote the modernization of agricultural machinery and proposes a solution by integrating various subsystems to form an entire multipurpose agriculture machine (MAM). MAM amalgamates various agricultural machines into a single system and makes it possible to perform multiple operations such as plowing, seed sowing, fertilizer spreading, and rolling concomitantly. | |
| What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? | |
| MAM can do all the four field operations (Ploughing, Seeding, Fertilizer Spreading and Rolling), simultaneously which will save time and as a result will cover more area on the field, hence increasing cultivation area and production. It is quite affordable for our below-par farmers. | |
| Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? | |
| In Pakistan, many farmers are adopting conventional agricultural methods, which are time-consuming and require more labor force. Tractor-driven machinery is costly, when used individually requires a lot of time to farm on a complete land, and because of that less area, is covered. | |
| How will the solution works | |
| Aim of the product is to allow user with many options: to choose between any type of fertilizer and set the spread rate according to the particular fertilizer. Operator can add or remove plough from the MAM easily. Multiple seeds can be planted with controlled seed spacing, seed depth and seeding rate. User is allowed to select between four different categories of the roller. | |
| Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different | |
| MAM haven't been manufactured till date. It has huge market share in Europe having only one competitor (competitor device only allows seed variation). Two of us team member has part time worked for international product development firm. Currently we have received five legitimate financial offers. | |
