| We've all been at a point where we have a pile of books that we no longer need because for some one read is enough. Additionally, many of readers find themselves hesitating overpaying for a good read. Sometimes one knows the book he needs but no idea of its location. Our app intends to provide a digital platform to cater above scenarios by allowing users to buy, sell and view book stores data. |
| What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? |
| People who lack information on where to buy books and their prices. People who can't study via eBooks require physical books. People who cannot afford new books. People who need a platform to sell their books. Bookstores will be digitized. People who find it difficult to go out in search of a book. |
| Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
| The book-A-holics that are habitual of a hardcopy of books but lack the energy to visit a store. People who require a platform to sell. People who are restrained due to high prices of books. Also for new readers who don’t know where to look. It would be available to all public via Google Play store. |
| How will the solution works |
| Our app BiblioBazaar is such a platform that will be a one spot solution for books. User would first register on BiblioBazaar. Then he can view the books that are in app's database categorically. A user can upload a book by filling the form that'll include basic data about the book. Our app has App-to-App communication and Add to cart feature. On confirming order, a notification would be sent to the owner regarding the order and details of buyer. Owner would then courier the book to buyer. |
| Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different |
| Our app is in the E-commerce domain that gives us a wide range of competitors. On exploring we observed that there was no such app that provided selling and buying of books, accessing real bookstore data, in app chatting and ordering feature. This is what will give our app the edge over others. |
