| Detection of mobile phones and keeping an eye on one’s activity at different places in different situation is a key intel element. The aim is to detect the mobile phone of the users where they are not allowed and also checking the actions of suspicious person. For this we need IMSI number of mobile phones which is a code used by the phone company to identify the SIM on the mobile network.

| It is required in societies to ensure security by keeping checks for the presence of a victim or perpetrator in a specific area or even figure out their location without the need for operator cooperation. To monitor the activity of iffy person by deploying it near its vicinity. |

| The higher authorities including law enforcement agencies like Army, Police and Intelligence agencies can benefit from it in order to maintain law and order in the country which will be beneficial for entire public. |
| How will the solution works |
| IMSI Catcher appears to mobile phones in the vicinity like a preferred base station as regards the signal strength, it thereby subjects the phones to the attack by a man-in-the-middle. However, the IMSI Catcher logs into the GSM network simultaneously as a mobile station with the help of a SIM card present in the phone. The IMSI Catcher can then induce the mobile station to make use of no encryption. It can then encode the plain text traffic to the base station from the mobile station. |
| Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different |
| The project's scope is designed to cater law enforcement agencies and is not a market product so there are no competitors to look forward to and we are trying to make it for 3G and LTE which is a new add-on to the previously built projects in this domain. |
