Abstract: |
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdowns, now people prefer to live indoor, indoor air quality (AQ) decreases. Due to this AQ monitoring is essential. This Designed system caters to these problems. |
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? |
The volatile organic compounds are present at five times greater levels in the indoor atmosphere than in the outside air. There should be a proper air quality monitoring system so that air quality can remain healthy using the proper ventilation process and further predictions can be taken using AI. |
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
Our idea can be used in academic institutes, government agencies, residential users, commercial users, industrial customers, etc. By using our product, users can monitor air quality. With the help of monitoring Air quality, users can improve surrounding air quality. |
How will the solution works |
Our product senses different air parameters like humidity, temperature, dust, carbon monoxide, methane, ammonia, nitrogen dioxide, and carbon dioxide using IoT sensor nodes and calculates real-time Air Quality Index (AQI). All sensor nodes are connected to the cloud where data is stored, analyzed, and used for future predictions using Artificial Intelligence. Web portal and mobile app are used for data visualization in tabular and graphical format.
|
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different |
There are competitive products internationally but none exists in Pakistan. Like Libelium company has IoT product named as Air Quality.
In our system, Artificial intelligence is used for further prediction about indoor air quality and alert notifications sent to user mobile app in case of poor air. |
