| The problem i am trying to counter is the amount of unnecessary office space that cubicles take up. The architecture of current office design is static in nature. The goal is to solve that problem. |
| What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? |
| My idea will make an office space more dynamic, easier to assemble and disassemble. That means the cubicles can be packed up easily when the room is needed for another purpose. |
| Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
| Office workers will benefit from a more ergonomic office set up. Companies will save space and make their spaces multi purpose. |
| How will the solution works |
| The proposed solution is to take a cubicle and turn it into a smart wall which houses all the needs of the user. On the outside it's just a wall that takes up very little space, but it houses a table that can come out of the wall when needed (main function). Other add ons include smart storage solutions in the wall and a passcode system that protects all the belongings of the user. It is a modular design so it joins up with other smart walls to create a more dynamic office space. |
