| Live Image Stitching of video input from six different cameras is to be done, the output is then forwarded to a Helmet Mounted Display(HMD) for the pilot’s view. Developed System has it’s utilities in fifth generation fighter aircraft for better situational awareness of the pilot. |

| Modern Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft use six cameras distributed around the aircraft’s frame to render a 360 degree live image. The 360 degree view is then forwarded to the HMD; where using the sensors on the aircraft, the environment around the pilot can be viewed just by tilt of the pilot’s head. This project provides an optical camera based implementation of this system by employing several image processing techniques and accelerating them using GPU Acceleration.
