Aim of project is to design and implementation of an adaptive noise cancellation system for suppression of wideband noise inherent to the currently deployed multichannel audio control system of JF-17. | |
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? | |
Adaptive Noise Cancellation would allow the pilots a better communication and reduce the probability of distorted messages due to multiple factors. Thus saving crucial time for the pilot. This project is aimed while keeping in view the needs of PAF. | |

JF-17 thunder is one of the most important assets of Pakistan Air Force. In case of any emergency on the aerial front of our air space, JF-17 is our line of defense.Thus in real war time scenarios the digital audio system needs to be in best of its capabilities for better understanding of the pilot. | |
How will the solution works | |
The project would be majorly divided into two phases listed below. • Implementation of Adaptive Algorithm in MATLAB • Implementation of Adaptive Algorithm on Digital Signal Processor The data will be acquired from the JF-17 aircraft digital audio control system and the algorithm will be tested on that data. | |
