Abstract: |
First responder autonomous fire-fighting drone that will have the ability to neutralize early-stage fire-related incidents. Fire if prevented at an early-stage reduces the risk and saves the day. |
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? |
Fire hazards if not dealt with at an early stage, leads to catastrophic outcomes. Fire Hazards affect millions of people, infrastructure damages, economic instability and insurance claims worth over billions annually. As the fire has already done its harm till the fire rescue arrives. |
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
The proposed solution is effective way to avoid devastation and maintain order in places prone to fire hazards. It can be used in several major industrial sectors i.e., Corporate, Education, Health, Government, Defense, Energy, Utilities and other places/infrastructures that deal with such problems. |
How will the solution works |
The drone will have the ability to Extinguish Fire and detect fire via its Detection Mechanism, i.e. image processing/sensors. By identifying threat at an early stage using accompanied sensors indicating the location to the Drone and informing the concerned authority, Drone will act as the first responder neutralizing the threat thus reducing time for emergency response. |
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different |
Traditional extinguishing methods are flawed, they rely on people influenced by emotions & reflexes. And those automated, also affect area other than effected, resulting in loss of valuables. Our solution is autonomous with relatively lower disturbance in the surroundings due to its focused action. |
