| Our idea is to design an umbrella that deploys and closes automatically on the account of temperature, rain and sunlight using a control system incorporated with sensors. |

| This idea is with the aim of finding environment friendly solutions. It is targeted towards the restaurants sectors encouraging them to promote outdoor seating. |
| Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
| With the rising prices of real estate and commercial building rents, the enterprises want a long term solution. So if outdoor seating is made feasible, the enterprises would jump on an attractive, long term, cost saving, aesthetic and an environment friendly solution |
| How will the solution works |
| The umbrella will cater to a seating of 5-6 people. There would be a control system incorporated with a Grove-Sunlight sensor, a NTC thermistor and a Rain drop sensor. The umbrella will deploy automatically when the sunlight intensity increases over a specific value or when the rain is detected by the rain drop sensor. |
