| The secondary education is tightly entwined with academy culture. The lack of it in universities acts as a halt to students |
| Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
| Undergraduate students who need help and guidance, will be the primary beneficiaries. Moreover, it will generate jobs for students willing to and capable to teaching. |
| How will the solution works |
| The current base model will operate through a website for information and registration. The tutors and students will be connected through WhatsApp and teaching will be on apps like Zoom and MS Teams. Classes will be online and per class we intend to restrict it to 5 students max to increase teacher-student engagement and keep the load on tutors light. We intend to create our own app in the future for connecting students and teachers, managing schedules/assignments etc. |
| Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different |
| There are a few competitors, mainly Nearpear.org (local), Coursera, Khan Academy etc. However, their courses are generalized and cover topics broadly. Edworld will enable students from each university to benefit from its specific courses and work culture. |
