Abstract:
    The main purpose of this project is to monitor the air pollution through coarse resolution and then by finding the most startling area; place a device to monitor fine air pollutants.
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    Air pollution is a major source of adverse human health and is contributing to climatic change, which is an alarming situation and it needs to be dealt. Through online dashboard, awareness among the people can be provided by giving them the information which is explicable for them.
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
   This project is a need of every citizen especially the environmentalists, More than million people get benefits by using our application.
How will the solution works
    The working solution of the project includes Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS)  to map the spatial distribution of atmospheric optical thickness. Field data collection for AOT is designed and developed using Arduino and small sensors. Through an online dashboard, data management and retrieval can be done for mass awareness.
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    Pollution is monitored by many research institutes and many satellites provide pollution monitoring products. Our system is different to find the highly polluted sites by coarse resolution satellite data and then placing the device at those sites for accurate estimation.
