| We plan to make a medical assistant and preliminary diagnosis app that understands Urdu. The target audience is Pakistani common users who may not be well-versed with technology and English language. |
| What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? |
| Health care is one of the most under established sectors of Pakistan. General surveys suggest that majority of Pakistanis are unhappy with the health services that are offered and the time they take. Our app will fill this gap especially for people living in rural areas. |
| Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
| Our medical app will help people, especially in rural areas to avoid long travels just for seeing a doctor for simple diseases and ailments. It will help the people to diagnose the disease early and suggest them medicinal measuresto prevent the disease. Anyone who speaks Urdu can benefit from it. |
| How will the solution works |
| The users interact with the system through an app. The app asks for a symptom and for how many days they are experiencing it either in text or voice form, based on this symptom the model asks more questions to gather more symptoms same as the doctor does. The questions are displayed to the users as well as the voice assistant speak the question for them. When the model predicts the disease it provides a prescription that includes knowledge about the disease, precaution, and its severity. |
