Abstract: |
Cement Stabilized Interlocking Bricks is the name of innovation in the world of Bricks where bricks don |
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? |
In our society, bricks are considered as a nonstructural element that cannot withstand the applied load. Cement Stabilized Interlocking Bricks not only negate this concept (CSIBs are structural bricks) but also proved beneficial during Earthquake loading owing to its shape and reinforcement provided |
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
As far as it’s usage in concerned, it is the need of time that we have something that not only fills the space between frame elements but also provide efficiency in terms of structural stability, economy as well as environment suitability. So anyone who needs masonry bricks would benefit from CSIBs |
How will the solution works |
There are three aspects in its manufacturing that differentiates it from conventional bricks. Economy is achieved by saving the mortar layer required during brick laying due to its interlocking mechanism as well as usage different raw materials in place of cement. Ecological benefits are beholden to the press machine usage for manufacturing. Structural advantages are achieved by its improved compressive strength and reinforcement usage to withstand tensile stresses. |
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different |
Our main competitors are Conventional Brick (Fired clay bricks) manufacturers and its users. Users will definitely be willing to utilize a construction material that is light on pocket, quick to be constructed, safe guard of life and warrantor of healthy environment. |
