Software that will LIDAR point cloud and its corresponding 2D image of the roadway and then it will do the rest from identifying assets to find their desired dimension automatically. | |

The already present system for the management of the roadway assets is just confined to storing and viewing the assets information which needs manual instructions which cost a lot of money and manpower. Our efficient system going to get rid of these time taking processing and automated it. | |

How will the solution works | |
The whole automated processes can be subdivided into 5 major process which includes: 1. Loading and analyzing all input files and look for if there is any error eg file format 2.Mapping between LIDAR points and 2D image coordinates. 3. Stacking the points projected on assets corresponding to their 3D LIDAR point so that boundaries can be determined. 4. Measuring the desire dimension according to the type of asset. and last but not least, to save the finding in the formatted file. | |
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different | |
Previously same was being done manually till now, so we are actually automating the whole process so that less manpower, time is required. Actually, dimension measurement using the LIDAR point cloud is itself an innovation. | |
