Triple water filters at our homes, schools, and workplaces also have less than satisfactory performance. We need a shift into the next generation of technology. |
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
The country as a whole is in dire need of it since we are one of the most affected by climate change and thus need newer and more cost effective ways to manage our water. Especially in our homes. |
How will the solution works |
A unique design of our graphene oxide embedded membrane by using methods that are backed by research. There are different techniques used for the preparation of graphene oxide such as Improved Hummer’s Method currently being used for larger-scale preparation. Flash Graphene can also be used for the preparation of graphene oxide with a turbostratic arrangement. This graphene oxide will then be incorporated into PES membrane using phase inversion methods. |
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different |
There are no competitors in the market as graphene is a new material, and has not gained any firm footing in the local market. We will be among the first to introduce it. |
