Abstract:
    We aim to introduce and incorporate the latest hydroponics technology with machine learning,Computer Vision, Embedded Systems, and IoT technology to make a fully autonomous system to grow crops.
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    The problem we are trying to address is a serious global challenge. Pakistan is likely to facethe issues of food safety and security in the near future due to lack of agricultural land,mismanagement of valuable resources, and water scarcity due to current inefficient farming practices.

How will the solution works
    The solution will consist of a hydroponics system autonomously controlled via a system of sensors and actuators controlled by a microcontroller, and optimized using machine learning algorithms. Linear regression models will be used to predict the best conditions such as temperature, light, etc. Computer vision will be used to monitor the health of the program and adjust nutrient quantities in the hydroponics system accordingly.
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    Our competitors are other hydroponics systems in experimental stages such as a few in Rawat affilliated with Arid University. Our system will be completely autonomous while theirs requires constant human monitoring and adjustment.
