| The project aims to purify Crude Terephthalic Acid (CTA) through a process that involves hydro-purification using Hydrogen gas, followed by Flash Crystallization, and finally product separation to obtain Pure Terephthalic Acid (PTA). The major impurity present in the CTA is 4-Carboxybenzaldehyde (4-CBA), which is separated during this process. The end goal is to produce 40 tons/day of Pure Terephthalic Acid (PTA). | |
