| The research aimed to prepare the self-emulsifying drug delivery system (SEDDS) based nanosized oral drops of BCS-IV drug, Ticagrelor. This nanosized oral drops will not only improve the solubility but also, absorption through buccal mucosa leading to improved bioavailability of the drug and lower the cost. | |

| The current available dosage form is administered in higher doses due to low bioavailability, which makes the treatment costly, and is not specific for the geriatrics or unconscious patients. Nanosized oral drop based on SEED will have better therapeutic effect and cost effective. | |

| Patients have difficulty in swallowing, unconscious patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases.Benefit of cost effectiveness and easy administration would make it suitable for both the manufacturer and Patient So, the formulation can be beneficial for a large pool of the patients. | |

| The current project will solve all the issues related to drug and product; such as solubility, bioavailability, therapeutic efficiency, and patient compliance.Measured doses of Ticagrelor nanosized oral drops based on SEDDS will be delivered through buccal route, thus it would be the solution of bioavailability and solubility issues. Further, easy administration of the formulation will increase the acceptability of the patients and hence improvement in the patient compliance. | |
