Abstract: | |
The project provides a low-cost solution for high-end state-protected research and apparatus such as stable platforms. This is achieved by designing and fabricating a tabletop prototype, using affordable and easily accessible material, which acts as a framework for any future potential scaled-up industrial implementation adaptable to domains such as aviation, gaming, and healthcare.
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
Motion and stable platforms are usually used in state-protected sectors including military and aerospace. The importance of these platforms being accessible to the public allows sectors like the automobile industry to provide comfort in vehicles that can be further utilized for medical purposes.
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
Expanding this prototype can be a valuable addition to the healthcare industry. It can be used on stretchers in ambulances, mitigating the effects of translation and pitching caused by uneven pavement. Due to its lost-cost nature, it can serve a greater proportion of the public.
How will the solution works
An initiating signal or an external force act on the platform, causing it to rotate in a certain direction. Changes in the positioning of the platform are detected by the sensing module (MPU6050). A feedback signal is then sent to the microcontroller for processing. Which then generates an output signal to the motors causing the platform to stabilize by going back to its original position. The initial position is determined by the sensor during calibration at the very start of the setup.
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
There is no available reference to point out any production of such systems in Pakistan. Companies are exploring the sector by means of imports from developed countries, leading to higher costs of acquisition and implementation. Our aim is to produce locally at lower costs for ease of adaptability. slot deposit pulsa 10 ribu
