Abstract: | |
Our project is based on embedded, AI, IOT and ML. We will design a portable system which can be placed in any water body. We will take water parameters from that area and send them to IOT Cloud. On Cloud and Webserver, data will be stored and displayed in form of database. One that database, we will apply AI trained models. We will also use edge device like ESP32 CAM. | |
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? | |
Pakistan is lacking behind in terms of aquaculture. Majorly that because of old practices that farmers used. We will replace that with an automated system which will take of many stuffs. Our system will also detect different fish diseases through their skin and swimming patterns. | |
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? | |
Anyone who is part of aquaculture or do aquaculture buisness will be benefit by it as an automated system is always better than a manual system. Also, with advanced system, we would be able to cultivate healthy fishes in bulk amount which will benefit people of Pakistan. | |
How will the solution works | |
We will take water paramters like PH, temperature, Dissolved Oxygen, total dissolved salts, ammonia gas and CO2 gas through sensors. The stream of data will be send to NodeRED which is an IOT Cloud. In the backend, data will be saved in form of database. On that database, we will apply AI trained models like Future Prediction, Anomaly Detection, Disease Detection etc. We will also send live feed videos through ESP32 CAM on which openCV models will be run like Speed Detection, GrowthDetection. | |
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different | |
There is a company Afarinesh Samaneh Mehr Engineering Co. which is an Iraq based company. It focus on IOT part only. Similarly, there is company in Singapore known as Singapore Aquaculture Technologies which focuses on AI part. Our project covers both areas. | |
