Our project(smart connect) consists of an IoT buddy which is using LoRaWAN networks are particularly useful for wireless sensors due to their ability to transfer data across long distances with less power consumption. LoRaWAN allows network connections for IoT sensors, especially in remote areas without public access.

What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? |
The unmet need of society is a limited coverage range of networks with high power consumption. Our project will be fulfilled by using IoT-based LoRaWAN technology. It provides for long-range communication between end devices and a gateway with low power consumption, particularly for Remote areas. |
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
LoRawan networks are flexible for rural or indoor use cases in smart agriculture, smart cities, industrial IoT (IIoT), smart utilities and metering, etc because it is a low-power wide-area networking protocol by enabling data communication over a long range while using very little power. |
How will the solution works |
Lorawan-enabled IoT Nodes will collect data through sensors(energy meters) that send and receive messages in the helium gateway through the LoRaWAN protocol. Gateway works as a relay and its task is to send all messages from the end devices and transmit them to the cloud storage Server(AWS) making it accessible to end-users through android and web applications (flutter & react) |

Our competitors are GSM technology(2G, 3G ), WiFi, Bluetooth, NBiot, ZigBee.Our solution is IoT-based LoRaWAN that provides a significantly greater communication range with low bandwidths than other competing wireless data transmission technologies.
