| Abstract: |
| The concept is to use wooden tools like ice cream sticks, chopsticks, pencils, and other types of wooden utensils as catalysts to promote sustainability. Using seeds and herbs in combination with the wooden tools we use every day to replant them. Seeds that can be used are of flowering plants, red & green chillies, tomato plants, coriander, spearmint and other vegetative plants. |
| What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? |
| Climate change is having a significant impact on our civilization. Our proposal will provide innovative pollution-reduction strategies, raise community understanding of the 3R Principle—Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle—and promote kitchen gardening, production of biodegradable products. |
| Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
| Pencils, paintbrushes, kitchen utensils, cutting boards, ice cream sticks and chopsticks can be used in a variety of ways by everyone. After using, these can be planted back in the soil to sustain life again. |
| How will the solution works |
| Our product's back side will encapsulate the seeds, which may be planted in the ground upside down, watered, and in a few days will sprout into new plants after being utilised and serving their intended function. |
