| It is estimated 60% of known human infectious disease are zoonotic in nature. There is no platform in Pakistan, that provides the latest zoonotic diseases information. If a real-time surveillance website like Zoonotica was available in 2019, the COVID-19 pandemic could be better managed. |

| Facilities on Zoonotica.pk will allow the public to better understand the zoonotic issue and the scientific community to efficiently manage it, thus supporting the health of the global community. The information on database would help government bodies to minimize the impact of zoonotic pandemics. |
