| Our idea is to provide a self sustaining domestic water heating system using parabolic trough solar collector system. |

| How will the solution works |
| A parabolic trough solar collector will concentrate the radiations from the sun onto a receiver tube made of copper which will transfer the heat to the vegetable oil which is our working fluid and inturn it will exchange heat with the water in the storage tank and the process will continue meanwhile during night a backup solar PV system will store energy throughout the day and will be used through a heating coil in the storage tank when there is no solar energy available at night. |
