Abstract:
    Smart Helmet along with it's mobile application aims to provide protective features to delivery riders, Features are : bike will beep until delivery rider wears the helmet, Over speeding graph is made, accident location sent to family and company, wind energy (renewable) to charge the helmet during the journey through wind energy.
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    According to the United Nations 3.4 million fatalities were caused by not wearing a helmet on motorcycle for period 2008-2020. Moreover, 1.4 million lives were saved by wearing helmet. Unmet need that it addresses is the lack of effective tools for monitoring and tracking the safety of riders.
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
   Our project could help organizations to monitor and track the safety of their delivery riders, and could help them to improve safety protocols and practices which they are lacking and can keep a check on their employees and can make a character certificate for them.
How will the solution works
    As the bike is turned on it will start to beep through beep module in it. When our smart helmet is turned on beep of bike will stop through receiver and transmitter modules in bike and helmet. Now the helmet will beep until three conditions are fulfilled. Wearing helmet sensed by touch sensors, Closing chin strap checked by circuit completion, Connecting to mobile application by bluetooth module. over speeding graph and location sent by google maps. Charging by vibration on piezoelectric sensors
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    We don’t really have any competitors since it’s a new and different approach to a problem about people not caring about wearing helmets. And if we do have competitors the we differ on the fact that our helmet can still work if we have jammers installed in the area.
