It overcomes the environmental problems associated with kiln burnt bricks.CB's consist mainly of clay content from soil.Giving view of environmental friendly building material, contributing in sustainable development & smog reduction from kilns. Resolving the problems of harmful materials that are disturbing nature. |
| What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ? |
| Since construction materials contribute to environmental pollution and the impoverishment of natural raw materials. CB's can have saved energy about 40:50% and decreased annual discomfort hours more than 50%. The buildings with CB's is a sustainable solution applied in construction industry of Pak. |
| Who needs it ? How many would benefit ? |
| CB's will have great potential to build low to medium-cost buildings. Using this technology, Pakistan will achieve many advantages & enhancement in development sector. CB's is one of the world strategies of moving back to nature & saving the planet by producing zero energy buildings. |
| How will the solution works |
| CB's manufacture is very simple. It is a three stage process: soil preparation, mix compression & curing. CB's gives the opportunity of eco-friendly, agricultural friendly and sustainable development. As soil is used to produce CB's, so it also helps to save the agricultural land. CB's have been prepared with the different composition of cement, sand & soil. Sand percentages are 5%,10% & 15% for 6%,8% & 10% cement percentages & rest is soil percentage. |

| Major competitor of CB's in market is ECO blocks (Eco Enterprises Islamabad). Since their main target to achieve is overall Cost-effective construction but the approach of CB's & targeted goal is to save the environment & prove to be a sustainable & eco-friendly building material.
