Abstract:
    Electro catalytic water splitting is an ecofriendly method for the production of hydrogen. Graphene is considered as one of the best candidate for the electro catalytic water splitting due to high stability and conductivity. To enhance electrical properties of graphene transition metal deposition is done.
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    Increase in the global energy demand and fossil duel consumption have stimulated us to develop ecofriendly energy production. We will produce hydrogen from water that will fulfill the energy demand as water is an abundant and renewable energy resource.
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
   The device will help the whole society and it is the best way to achieve clean and renewable energy.
How will the solution works
    This device will work on the principle of electro-catalytic water-splitting in which pure steel material will act as cathode and for anode material we will synthesize CdS/Graphene/Ni-foam. In this process hydrogen will evolve at cathode and oxygen will evolve at anode of the device. All the reactions taking place in this device will produce environmental friendly products.
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    The users of petrol, diesel and other batteries users for the production of hydrogen are the competitors. This device will replace these engines and produce hydrogen by eco-friendly method so that we can reduce the global warming ,that is the big issue these days.
