Abstract:
    This project aims to design and fabricate an Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) capable of transporting packages of 2kg up to a height of 4ft using a scissor lift and telescoping mechanism. It will reduce human intervention and improve efficiency of warehouse systems, thereby reducing human risk and decreasing the carbon footprint and power consumption of warehouses.

   The solution has been designed specifically for warehousing and supply-chain companies in Pakistan that transport packages. It especially has great implications for e-commerce companies such as Daraz, whose bottom line and delivery times are greatly affected by their ability to optimize operations.
How will the solution works
    Our project is a autonomous robot that uses real-time sensing for obstacle avoidance and employs a scissor lift and telescoping mechanism to pick-and-place packages within a warehouse. Its built-in controller synchronizes with the Warehouse Management System to navigate the warehouse and pick the relevant packages. It is completely battery-powered and rechargeable, and can operate in a low-light environment.
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    There are no local competitors or alternatives for autonomous robots used in warehouses. However, commercial products exist internationally which are expensive and difficultly operated by unskilled labor. Our unique indigenous solution is cheaper and faster than using labor and less riskier.
