Abstract:
    Our AI based Fire Rooster is an intelligent device that can detect the fire using digital image processing and its concepts, and can prevent from the personal losses. It distinguishes between a normal fire and hazardous fire which will rid us of false alarms. The Fire Rooster has an android application which will directly send a message to both, the owner of property and fire brigade department.
What is the unmet need in society that your idea will fulfill ?
    Manual Fire-Extinguishing methodologies currently exist and Automated methods are absent in almost all Residential and Commercial Areas. Our Project is both, Automated and quick to respond.
Who needs it ? How many would benefit ?
   Almost all Residential Areas should have it installed since there have been many House-Fires in the past, and usually due to mishaps in the kitchens. Commercial Areas / Business Districts as well because they deal with enormous amounts of data, which can be lost due to a fire break out.
How will the solution works
    Our project will consist of mainly four Devices/Equipment: An IP Camera, Raspberry Pi, A Servo Motor and A Sprinkler Mechanism. Softwares include Python and React Native, plus JAVA. First our IP Camera will detect a fire, in case there is one or not, and the Raspberry Pi will process the frames of the incoming video to decide if the fire is hazardous or not. In which case if it is, it will run the code to open the valve of the Sprinkler to extinguish the fire, all while generating an alarm.
Who are your competitors ? How is your solution different
    One of the competitors are NAFFCO Wet Chemical Fire Extinguishers. But since they are chemical based, they might have some side effects which may have a negative effect when inhaled and/or ingested. Our system consists of water used as an extinguishing medium.
